3 to 5 miles to the West of Lemoine / Shawmere Lakes .... Between Chapleau
and Timmins, Ontario - Photographed Summer 2005 by Joel Theriault

These pics are mostly older forestry pics .... forestry done 10 to 15 years before ... The exposed section was cut about 2000 ... It provides a ton of berries to the bears and lots of deciduous plants for the moose.

Wonder why there are so many dead birch? Herbicides?

. The area to the right was sprayed with herbicides ... it's now a great berry patch ... Do you believe that the nutrients in the plants are affected by the soil it where it grows?
